Pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in the country, and Stonewall Sports Fargo is bringing it into the fold. If you’ve heard the sound of a pickleball court, you know exactly what we mean by “making noise.” It’s loud, it’s fast, and people get hooked on it immediately.
Think of it as tennis’s more approachable cousin. Smaller court. Lighter paddle. A plastic ball with holes in it. The learning curve is gentle, the rallies are satisfying, and the trash talk is outstanding.
Pickleball fits the Stonewall model perfectly. It’s easy to pick up, hard to be bad at for long, and naturally social. The court is small enough that you’re always close to your partner, which means you’re always talking, strategizing, and laughing at whatever just happened.
It also spans age groups and ability levels in a way that few sports do. Whether you’ve played racquet sports your whole life or you’ve never held a paddle, pickleball meets you where you are.
Stonewall Sports Fargo’s pickleball league follows the same principles as all our sports. Register as a pair with a teammate, or sign up as a Free Agent and we’ll match you with a partner for the season. Skill level doesn’t matter. The atmosphere is competitive enough to be interesting and relaxed enough to be fun.
