Stonewall Sports Fargo is an LGBTQIA+ and ally sports league in the FM area. You don’t have to be good at sports. You just have to show up.

We’re a nonprofit rec league for LGBTQIA+ people and allies in Fargo-Moorhead. We play kickball, dodgeball, pickleball, and whatever else sounds good that season. We play kickball, dodgeball, and pickleball, and we raise money for local nonprofits while we’re at it.
No tryouts. No experience required. No one’s keeping a highlight reel. Just good people kicking, throwing, or hitting balls at each other in the most supportive way possible.
Maybe you played sports growing up and loved it. Maybe you played sports growing up, and it was terrible. Maybe the last time you ran was to catch a bus on Broadway.
Doesn’t matter. This is for you.
Stonewall Sports Fargo exists so LGBTQIA+ people and allies in the FM area have a place to play, connect, and be exactly who they are. Every league, every game, every awkward missed catch. All of it is yours.

Each year, a portion of league fees goes to a local nonprofit right here in Fargo-Moorhead. You’re not just playing sports. You’re playing sports that actually do something.
This whole thing is volunteer-run, community-owned, and built by people who live here and care about this place. We’re one of 28 Stonewall Sports chapters across the country, and we’re proud to bring this to the prairie.
This isn’t a big-city-only thing. The LGBTQIA+ community here is real, it’s growing, and it deserves something built specifically for it.
Fargo-Moorhead is scrappy, creative, and full of people who build good things in cold weather. Since 2022, Stonewall Sports Fargo has been one of those things. We might play kickball in April with snow still on the ground, but we’ll have smiles on our faces and a darn good time while we’re doing it.
